Well, I’m finally 18.

Took long enough, well… uh, 18 years to be exact. But, that’s all behind me now, and I get to enjoy the benefits of being 18.
Like… buying porn (which, I don’t do), buying ‘tobaco products’ (which, I also don’t do), and voting (which, I’ll probably only do on the Presidential-scale).

For the most part, that’s it. I mean, I get to work as many hours as I want now, and not have to cut back because I’m not 18, etc..

My birthday wasn’t really a birthday. It was a workday — don’t get me wrong, I chose to take a 14.5 hour work day, and I’m glad I did. And I’ll be even more glad when I see my paycheck.

But, I did come home to a message from the Scion dealership, it was my soon-to-be-friend, Oscar!
He was calling about the application I put in and asking me to return his call.

So, I called him back today, and I cleared up a misunderstanding and than he went on to explain how much I would need to gross a month to get the Scion without a co-signer.
Was all pretty painless. $500 deposit — they need to order the Scion from the factory, because 1) they are awesome cars, and people are buying them like crazy, and 2) because mine is going to be a custom Scion tC.

So, I plan to wait and see how much I pull from my upcoming paychecks and decide if I need a co-signer. If not, awesome. If so, eh, I’ll deal — I want that damn Scion!

Other than that, not much going on with me.
Just been working a lot, in an attempt to get ‘promoted’ at CVS.
I also started photolab training there. Yay.

Well, just letting you know I’m still alive and all.

well i’ve been busy trying to sort my life out.
I’m in a bind.
The University of Essex starts in October. Later than ALL the Uni’s in England which start in September.
So now I’ve sent my letter of appeal to hope they’ll forgive me failing ONE exam by 1.7% and let me continue to second year.
I’ve also been trying to set up my work over at Anglia University of Chelmsford. Thing is, i can’t let Essex, get wind I might move, otherwise they wont consider my appeal. If I dont apply early enough Chelmsford wont accept me….
So now I’m stuck with no option except waiting.
Tomorrow I’m off to do some errands and then go check out Chelmsford.

woke up at 5pm today.
Boy was I tired.
I spent so long assembling that damn glass table only to realize that the instructions were fucking unclear and I put a middle shelf backwards. Only way of fixing it would be to take it apart, but screw that, I drilled a hole and made my own.

I cooked some food today and lounged around. I mostly thought about what I could do to get the dean of Law to listen to my case.

Then Jim was acting uncool today. Something’s up with him, but seeing as he’s snapped at me, I’m not going to ask whats up.

Kei and I have been doing lots of crap lately — he’s been waiting for the results from his exam and just taking care of a lot of personal business, I’ve been working my ass off.
So, with us doing that, there’s not much time for us to post on here. Things are going to calm down soon, and we’ll be back to posting.

But, to give you all a run-down. We started yet another project, we might unveil part of it soon. So, that’s all you get for now.

The real reason I’m making this post is to show the log from a convo we just had.

Well Chris the genious tells me, “I’ve got Windows Media Center Edition from work! Install it onto your pc!”

I say “are you sure?”
“Yes yes!”, he assures me.

Right, I back up the basics, start to install. “Delete windows?” I select yes “replace with current inserted edition?” I select yes.

After 20 mins of setup. Enter key.
“Chris, wheres the key?”
“uh… i dunno” he says.

WtF?!

Well, making a comeback, sorta, kinda.

Lately, I’ve been working my two jobs, and I’ve been pretty happy doing so.
More work, more money. More money, more car-ey… or something. What I’m going on about is that, I’m back to wanting my brand-new car. I know, I know, everyone thinks you should get a crap-car for your first one, to practice and learn with, blah blah blah, fuck everyone. Everyone is just jealous THEY didn’t get a new car to start with. But, I guess everyone should have just worked harder for what they wanted, right? Right.

That’s what I did. I’ve been working non-stop for the past two months with one thing in mind: Get a vehicle.
And this November, my motivation is going to become a reality.
I can’t say for sure I’ll get my NEW Scion tC, but I’m sure as hell going to try!

Got my Nano today. Bastard Ricky didn’t tell me it arrived.
At 1 he said “I THINK it arrived” when I checked the delivery log, it had arrived at 10:30.
Pissed me off a bit.

I did nothing again today. Cleaned the home. Went to Tescos to buy a bulb and some food. Hmm what else.
Just been tampering with my Nano for a while now. I just thing this is the most perfectly sized MP3 player in the world.
The screen could be slightly bigger but it’s perfect.
A great Shuffle subsitute.

Well I got up at 10:30am, went to London.
Thought that I could go there with a friend and try to relax and stop thinking about Aiko so much.
Nope. Didn’t work.
I went originally to visit my uncle… but my father and sisters didn’t send me his number…
So I went to China Town, found this great place that might do business with me (Oxygen Mobile)
this will be great of course so i can get some spare cash.
Anyway, I went to TGI Fridays to eat, then ran to the Apple Store.
I just HAD to check out the Nano. I swear my mind just doesn’t get around to believing it exists! WTF?! It’s so tiny, the pics dont do it justice.
Anyway, I was thinking, maybe Aiko meant that we should stay together but just discuss our future at the end, and she didn’t mean that she wanted an all out break up. I dunno.
Maybe me just justifying it.

You know, I’ve always wondered if such things work. What things? FreeiPods, free stuff in general.
So I decided, screw it! Let me try after I watched this

well it’s happened.
My girlfriend is no longer my ‘probable fiancé’

I type this with a few tears trinkling down my face.
I type this because none of my friends answer their phone right now.

Just been speaking for 2 and a half hours.

She’s broken off the engagement.
She says it’s because she’s been thinking about the future.
She needs to work in Japan, and I need to work in Qatar for at least 4 years. She thinks that we wont be able to be with each other for a while and this is not convenient.
She doesn’t even bother to think about solving the problems.

One thing I’ve learned, is that there is no use arguing with a Japanese person. They are too materialistic, and their common priorities order are money/job, friends, then boyfriend/husband.

It’s sad.

She’s even said, lets stay Boyfriend and Girlfriend but break off the engagement.
How can I stay with someone who’s quite easily broken my heart.
Why does this person want to stay with me if she doesn’t feel the same.

It seems as if she’s just ‘keeping her options open’

I feel like crap.

I just dont get how someone who claims they care about you can change overnight….

however, this does mean I’m no in a relationship with no commitment…. But I can’t be in one.
I guess I’ll probably stay BF and GF until the end because I’d rather have one more year than nothing.

I woke up late. Missed my dentist appointment. Next one is in a week dammit…
Then I discovered that my iPod Nano isn’t coming until the 16th because they have to ship it from Shanghai.

Then I get a fucking bullshit email where Aiko tries to justify why she’s not been acting herself. (it’s all about her) It all leads me to the conclusion that she’s a stubborn and selfish person.

She’s gone and broke off the engagement as well.

Fuck it. FUCK HER. FUCK YOU whoever is reading this. Fuck it all.

Lesson of the day: All girls are bitches. Even the kind ones. They’ll turn on you faster than a wolf.

Well, so far my weekend has already took some unexpected turns, in that I mean instead of coming home early and being bored, I went to the September fest with a few people I knew from school. The ‘underclassmen.’

I guess they aren’t really underclassmen now, though, they are the new seniors, well, Dave is. Dave is an underclassmen. =P
Still, though, it went like this:

At 11PM some big truck was driving down the road outside of my work, and caught a power line — right before the parade was about to start. The truck pulled on the power line and the pole was pulled down a little bit, not all the way, just enough to draw a huge crowd. So, this delayed the parade for an hour while they tried to figure out how to get this huge truck out of the city. They ended up letting the air out of the tires and taking it down by the river, I believe. Took them long enough, I could have suggested that after looking at the scene for 5 minutes.
