    P. Rojas is a mofo.

Peter Rojas from Engadget.com is an idiot.

Now it really annoys me when someone from another country or especially a Western country acts as if they know more about your own country than you do.

There was an article about how Qatar has started building robots to ride Camels.
He was saying that Qatar is one of the biggest users of 4 year old jockeys which they enslave (from Sudan)

I showed him a link that showed that it’s ILLEGAL in Qatar, yet he ignored that. Making it seem like my country is some child raping country. Perhaps thats out of context, but what pissed me off is that he said “English is obviously not your first language and you can’t post something proper so I’m locking the comments”

Now that is a total bitch move. First of all, this shows how people think they know more then they actually do. My mother is British and I learned English first. Is he saying that I am not well spoken? Is he saying that I am not able to comprehend what he or the article is trying to say? If I have misunderstood something, as a newsposter or admin, isn’t it his job to try and clarify?
If Engadget wants to be big (although it’s trying to make itself seem bigger than it really is) then it has to learn to respect the people that go to their site.
I’m actually going to stop linking to engadget.com
and if someone from that site reads this and thinks “fuck it, we dont need him anyway” then that shows how their mentality is fucked. Why? Well if they dont give a shit about me, it either means they are racist, or since I’m just one person, who says the next person is going to be treated any differently?

FUCK YOU ENGADGET and thanks for supporting the fact that there are alot of ignorant people out there.
God knows how many mobile related articles you’ve posted which claimed an American device was the first of it’s kind and I’ve had to correct that.

    Enjoy a one fingered salute.
How does it feel Peter that someone you’ve never met hates you from his heart for your ignorance?

Oh and Frank from neowin.net is a mofo too. Mod complex.

Look, I’m sorry — but… what the fuck!?

Omaroo, you’re being a total bitch. I really hope you read this. Seriously…

If I were Kei, I would have left your ass for dead already.

I don’t have time to let someone drag me down with them, and I’m sure he doesn’t either.

Get your head in the game, bitch!

I mean, I’m all for helping a friend, and I’m all for sticking by a friend when they are acting like a bitch. But, that’s usually because my friends only have their periods (the males, too) and I just deal with it. That is to say, they aren’t always total wastes of space who make me do everything for them.

Shit, Omaroo, who wipes your ass for you?
(Oh, wait. I remember, you guys wash your ass every time…)
Omaroo, who washes your ass for you? Or reminds you to wash your ass?

Seriously, grow up. Start acting like an adult.

    Omar is a fuck.

You know I can’t believe how selfish Omar can be sometimes.
I remember saying that I really wanted to work as a bar tender and Omar telling me, “no man, don’t do that, serving alcohol will send you to hell”
We both decided that we were going to search for jobs.
I literally had to force him to write a cv up and everything.
So we go to send our papers to different stores, and I even help get a spot at BurgerKing since they weren’t going to even consider him.
He then tells me (obviously when it’s too late) that he’s applied to work as a bar tender. Wtf…. He didn’t even bother to mention me or ask me to hand in the form with him.
Yes I could have done it myself, but if I’m helping him, why can’t he help me. It kind of made me feel like he stole the job that I was interested in. At the end of the day he didn’t get the bartender position but rather a doorman position (i think) still, I have to ASK him to go and mention my name to help me get a position…

    “Ever Wonder…”
    Sunday October 30th 2005, 1:36 pm

Kei had me watch a flash video:
It was pretty interesting, and possed some questions that not many people would think about.

As far as the whole US vs Anything Middle-Eastern thing goes, I think there’s no longer a need to be over there.

We said we were going for WMD’s, well… we didn’t find them, so we just grabbed Saddam.

So, uh, why are we still over there? What are we looking for?
Are we trying to change an entire countries opinion that America is full of bitches by blowing them up?
I have no idea, really. It’s all pretty stupid.

But, that’s not really what this flash was about, it was more about the culture of Islam, and how it’s compared to other cultures. Mainly that of the Christians and Jews.

And I have to admit, somethings in the video are true, and they make you think, but others are just perspective.

Sure, women stay home to take care of the children and clean the house in both cultures — but in America, along with many other countries, she has the choice to do so, I don’t think it’s quite like that in Islam. But, still, the video is somewhat valid.

Honestly, I think that many Americans, Englishmen, and other countries have a very… tainted view of the Middle-East. I’m not saying mine is perfect, but it’s definitely better than most.

Anyways, just thought I would share this with you all, you can all form your own opinions.

well I’ve been filling out forms, scanning documents, getting papers, talking to the uni, starting promotions for Fluid Mobile, finishing off Kawaii-av, updating sites, selling crap, and doing a whole load of other shit.

Tonight, I cooked dinner. Tagliattelle with lighty roasted chicken drizzled with olive oil and basil and finally covered with a creamy cajun sauce.
    Tasty?
Well Mamdoo7 and Omar got to enjoy that.
Sadly I forgot the garlic so there was a bit of flavour loss.

Tomorrow I’m going to take Aiko to town and perhaps watch a movie then cook some nice dinner for both of us.
Still not 100% sure though yet. I want to but I’m already feeling lazy. Need to schedule something :)

    Omar is a fucking idiot!
We’re talking about Australia and everything and he puts off applying saying that he’ll call.
Then, when it’s time to call now he says he’ll email them because he wants to save money.
So I’m like, fuck it, i’m not bugging you to remind you what to do.
    And he’s like “finally”

wtf is that! It’s his fucking future! I’m tired of always pushing him to do the right thing!
He’s going to end up with nothing and I dont want to have to help him when it was his fault he got into this problem in the first place.

Fuck it, i dont want to say it, but i actually hope that he starts to regret his actions.
Sadly, he’s still a child inside.

I worry how he’s going to get a job, make friends, or even get married… I wish he’d grow up and show a little more respect.

    Where’ve You Been!?
    Saturday October 22nd 2005, 11:15 pm

    Wow. Been a while!

I’ve just been doing the same as I was doing las time, with a little bit of ‘this’ and ‘that’ to keep it interesting.

Some of ‘this’ would be my current exploit of attending yet another GXL LAN fuction.
This is my third, and it’s attendance cap was 80-people.

Lots of stuff going on, too. For one, I haven’tslept in almost 48 hours, now, normally this isn’t any big deal, but here there is always going to be some down-time between games.
Where I won’t quite feel like jumping into another game, but I still need to do something to keep me awake and occupied.
Those are a bit of a pain to deal with, but I find things to do, such as this — typing up a blog post.

Lots of games going around in this three-day period. Some Starcraft, Warcraft III, Unreal Tournament 2004, Battlefield 2, and many others.
It’s a blast, really. A bit exhausting — especially since I have work 8AM Monday morning.

Some things that aren’t so cool about this LAN? The constant Counter Strike clan videos. Once was more than enough for me to see them.
They’re stupid and I want their badly edited existance to come to an abrubt end.

Anyways, aside from that, there’s work.
I got my promotion, and now I’m just waiting for the final ‘go-ahead’, which will be this upcoming Friday morning.
That position I’ll be recieving is: Head Cashier.

I’ll hold this job title for about 2 more months, merely as a chance for my superiors to evaluate me further. No big deal.
In January I become a shift supervisor, and take my first real step towards getting into management.

Putting all that aside, you’re left with a few hours I spend sleeping and other tasks necessary to maintain life.

I did pick up a few games and computer-related accesories.
Eg: Black and White 2, a new keyboard, and a new (bulkier) headset.

All in all, I don’t think too much is missing.
I’d give it a 8/10 for the past few weeks.

Could be better, but I’m not going to fucking complain.

Now, if only Kei was having this sort of luck.

    i’ve not died yet.
I’m in the midst of a website called I HATE ESSEX. (it’ll probably be www.ihateessex.com)
Jim where you at? No posts?

I’ve been personally busy with trying to sort out Chelmsford. Aiko left today to go to Boston and will be gone for 6 days. She’s going to a career forum.

I’ve been cleaning my home and trying to make it look nice.
I’m selling alot of stuff’until I can find a job.
Finding a job in England is hard…..
I’m selling my P910, perhaps iBook, PSP v.15 (can play ALL region umds), Nano case, iPaq H5550, loads of psp games, ds games, alot of crap generally.
Any of you blog readers interested?

It’s 2:41am and I’m pretty tired but I can’t sleep. The stress is killing me.
I’m tired of Essex playing around with me.

    Yes still waiting.
The only change was I decided that I needed to relax from stress.
My father is acting like a paranoid punk. Saying that I only want to stay in the UK for Aiko.
I have decided that if he is going to just act like this when I’m down and only act enthusiastic when I’m successfull then that makes him act like Jew and I’d rather stay away from him than to see his face.
I thought I’ve been a good son to him. Maybe my abilities at studying Land law are not as good.
I only failed by one percent and he can’t even be supportive about that.
    Fuck this.

Yesterday i went to the UK World B-Boy Championships.
Man I almost kicked some people’s asses. They were as annoying as fuck!
Anyway, got a free shoelace. Stingy bastards, can’t give us better free shit.

Anyway, Korea one the Championship for the 4th time straight.
The UK team was awesome but they didnt even make the semi’s I dont know why…
The final was between France and Korea. Man France OWNED Korea. Korea did the same fucking routine as last year.
    Fucking biased judges.
The french team just need to change their name, fucking “pokemon’.
also i think they lost because they had this one dude who is a midget who won the title of worlds best soloist. And he thinks he’s hot shit so he took up alot of the time and one of his combo moves ended up with him kicking a korean by mistake. Defo minus points.

    Oh well.

    ok, here’s the deal.
    i’m fucking stuck!

APU accepted me. My sponsor then told me they dont recognize APU and won’t allow it….
So now I’m waiting on UCL or Queen’s Mary to accept me…. But the woman who is supposed to help me just tells me to wait for a reply.

I dont know what to do.
Everytime I open a door it’s shut in my face.

I dont know what to do anymore.

The Univeristy of Essex is asking me to wait 4-6 weeks for a reply with my appeal.

    This is not cool.

    Basically it’s like this.
    Essex: Wait 4-6 weeks.
Anglia: Accepted me but Sponsor doesn’t accept that uni.
UCL and QM: Didn’t reply to me but sponsor accepts them.
Recruitment officer: keeps saying wait wait wait.

i dont have time… the more I wait the less chance i have of a future….

You guys have no idea how hard I’ve been working the past few days.
I think it was around 65 hours last week.

Wednesday I started in Photolab at CVS, and it was set so I would work Photolab from 8AM-11AM and than come back 4PM-10PM.
Now, that just sounds like a hassle. So, what does Jim do? He asks if he can just stay the whole day, of course.

Which turns out one fourteen and a half work-day.
Thursday I worked my normal hours, which was something like 4PM-10PM.

Friday, I’m in from 8AM-11AM/4PM-10PM again… and again, I stay from 7:30AM until 10PM, but… with an extra two hours this time.
    So, it was 7:30AM-12:AM.
Which is something like a sixteen and a half hour work-day.
