I woke up at around 10 am today. My back was killing me. Shingo’s room is so dry! I don’t understand it. My throat was dry, my nose was a bit blocked and my left muscle over my shoulder blade hurt. It must have been due to yesterdays bowling and baseball session.
We got ready, headed to the bus and then got the way to the station to go back. I had a few things to do so needed to head back to colchester as soon as possible. When we arrived the train had JUST passed. So we decided to get something to eat and wait for the next train. We were lucky too because it started to rain heavily.
Shingo’s a funny guy, sometimes it’s so amusing how he’s direct to Omar.
Shingo: Pick up the mattress from the floor
(Omar kicks it with his foot)
Shingo: Pick it up
Omar: Yeah I a~~
Shingo: No!
Omar: But~
Shingo: No!
Omar: Ok man… relax… (Picks up mattress with hands)
Anyway, got on the train, then headed back. I didn’t buy a car parking ticket yesterday and was worried I might get a parking ticket. When I arrived at the car, my heart beat fast, was there going to be a ticket? Nope! I got lucky.
I headed back home to drop the stuff off and then headed to the university. The guy who bought my car was supposed to pay the rest today and pick the car up so I had to buy car tax. While I was there, I also went to Eugene’s home to print some logos on special paper to put on the shirts.
Take a look at the shirts, they look high quality right?
I saw Jianan and Tony at Eugene’s place too. Oh! I also saw Tomo. I asked him to come to London to help me with the video we’re going to film. Good thing he said yes!
When I got home I decided to wait for the guy who said he was going to buy my car and also get things ready.
Sadly the guy didn’t arrive… I don’t know why but he’s strange. He paid 400 pounds deposit and he’s not interested in the car anymore it seems. Fine with me if he wants to give me 400 free pounds! He said he was going to call tomorrow morning after I explained I’m not going to be in colchester.
Lets see what happens.
Ok! I’ve cleaned, I’ve updated, I’ve chatted! Bed time!
I got up this day feeling normal. Well not exactly normal, I felt a bit happy :p. I went to my pc as usual and checked facebook. I got a message from Reena. She said “have you seen your grades” (something along those lines). I quickly checked on line and saw that I got a 2-1!! (That’s a B to people around the world). Especially on Environtmental law. If you’ve been following my blog, you’d know that the environmental law professor didn’t like me very much so the grade was a surprise. I was so happy and immediately called my father.
My smile changed quickly into a disappointed frown. My father wasn’t happy. In fact he gave me a long speech about how I should have done better. He made me feel so bad. I felt worthless. Why does he do that? Ok, lets say the obvious statements. “He cares about you”, “He only wants the best for you”. So? Does he have to make me feel bad while doing that? I didn’t want to talk to him. I didn’t really want to do anything…
But Shingo invited me to go to Norwich with Omar. He always comes to Colchester so I thought it would be nice to go visit him.
I felt strange because I remember dropping him at university just yesterday. I mean, even though it was 1 year ago, I remember taking him to his room and helping him unpack and walking around like it happened so recently.
When I arrived I saw them at the station. It was good that they were near by. I was starving at that time so we went to a place called “Old Orleans”. I ordered this strange burger, with a potato and a salad. Omar got some wedges which I asked him to order.
When the wedges arrived, the first one was burned. It was burned to a rock. So we returned it. They brought more, this time it was cooked but the center was frozen! The manager came and said sorry and then said he’d take it off the bill… Was he doing us a favour? Take it off the bill? Ok, take it off the bill but give us a replacement! Idiots.
We then headed to the bowling center to play a quick game. It started it off bad for me… Omar got three full strikes! Shingo got some good hits. I don’t know WHAT happened, but by the time we finished, I won! Omar had the lowest score. Lucky!
We then went back to Shingo’s place and played some baseball. I remember when I was younger I was pretty good at baseball. (I didn’t tell them though :p) We ran, played, and laughed. As I looked around, I could see girls from the windows looking at us and smiling. Oooh.. fans! :p Just joking. The game was someone is the batter, one throws, and the other is the catcher. If you hit the ball, you have to run to a point then run back before someone tags you.
When it was Omar’s turn he hit the ball quite far, so I ran, slid, caught the ball and threw it on him quickly…. on his balls… Ball on his balls! >.< Wasn't on purpose. I did manage to hit TWO home runs though Made me happy.
We then decided to go play some pool. Me and Omar had alot of change so we were going to play alot. This guy came with his girlfriend and put some coins on the table. Omar told him that we were going to play more but that guy was an asshole and said "you have to put your coins on the table if you want to play more". What?? Who's rule is this? Asshole's rule? We have some much change and if we put the coins on the table we'll get annoyed... So I looked at his girlfriend and said "Ok.. play your game but we're taking the table after". Omar put all his stuff on the table, even his wallet. I said "Should I put my credit card too?".
When we finished we walked to Tesco to get some food. As we walked, we played a game. The game was to say a word, and then someone was supposed to saw a word that is related but totally different.
For example, Cow -> Milk -> White -> Cloud -> Sky -> Plane etc… We also bought a bunch of pick up sticks. So we played two games at once.
It then became late and we decided to have an early sleep. My back was hurting a bit from baseball.
The plan today was to go to the Sauna, Lloyds, Barclays, do a bit of shopping, pass by Matt, get a call from Simon and go to a club. Sadly things didn’t go to plan. I still had a great day though
Let’s see. I dropped of Vanessa and her friends at the airport today. They were all going back to Shanghai. I made the mistake of relying on my phone again to take me home.
The airport is 100 km away but the phone wanted to take me a route which was 300km long!
It took me around 2 hours with traffic to go to the airport, but the phone said it would take 4 hours to go back!
As usual it was crap and I decided to go my own way. After arriving, I then went to the university. The weather was nice but I was feeling a bit sad.
When I got home, I sent an important email and then got a call from my father. He asked me to do a few things for the house because it was taking a while to get sold. So I told him I’d do it for him.
After that I went to the gym for 2 hours to work out. I needed to do exercise. I think my right arm is a bit bigger than my left! I need to get nice and strong. A strong man can take care of the person he loves right?
Later on, me and Omar called Mazin. He’s a guy that lives in Germany that loves HG alot too. He was interested in doing a show with us. I didn’t realize how interested he was until he actually decided to come this Tuesday to London to film something! It’s cool. What’s even more amazing is that he’s half Iraqi and half Hollish? (from Holland)
I then called my darling We spoke on the phone and I felt happy to hear her voice. I tried to go to bed but I was feeling a bit uneasy. I needed some hugs!! So I went to the fridge and looked for something. I decided to eat some yellow Thai curry. It made me feel warm inside Nicely spicey too!
Anyway, I’ll try to sleep now! Hope the weather will be nice in the morning!
This morning I woke up a bit tired than usual. My neighbour told me my car alarm rang some times so I didn’t understand why. That was a few days ago. So early in the morning I heard an alarm. I thought it might be my car, so I quickly jumped, put on my shoes, got my key and ran downstairs. It wasn’t my car.
So that means that maybe my neighbour thought it was mine but it wasn’t.
Today I went to watch Ocean’s 13. It’s a good movie because of all of the famous actors but I think you’ll at least need to watch Ocean’s 12 if you want to understand it. To be honest I think that the other actors are much better.
I advertised my Renault on ebay. I thought that I don’t really need it anymore. So, tomorrow someone will come over to my home to check it out. Hopefully I’ll get a good price.
Tomorrow I have to drive to London and drop Omar’s stuff. I’m a bit lazy to do that but what else can I say.
My heart is beating fast. Today I was forced to seriously think about what I’m going to do with my future. It’s sad for me because my father wants me to go back and simply work as a mindless person or go do my masters, and my mother is too busy being rude to me before I even arrive in Bahrain.
If I had it my way, I’d try to be an actor or a comedian. Just a few months to do that. Sadly, it’s just a hopeless dream it seems.
I’m the guy who’d rather live poor but happy rather than a rich man who’s all alone so I have to think carefully about a secure and safe future that will not only support me, but also give me happiness.
I have so many thoughts in my mind.
Will the girl in my mind go with me wherever I go? Should I ask for such a thing? Can I succeed?
The party was great! It started off a bit slow. I got ready when I got up, put on my suit and started to feel good. Ohhh yeah, James Kei is in the house.
(It’s an Airgun ok!)
I took a few funny pictures and then headed out. When I reached the university there was a problem. The tickets… they were at home. I won’t say who forgot them, but lets just say that I was annoyed So I went back, got the tickets and then headed back to uni. It was a strange sight to see so many people dressed in suits and dresses on campus.
I headed to the computer lab because Omar was there. He was with 9 chinese guys playing games on the pc. I thought that it was sad he was just sitting there playing games. I don’t mean it’s sad that he didn’t go, but he actually CHOOSES to play games rather than going out on a fresh day.
I got a call from Ahmed who told me he’d meet me inside. When I arrived, I saw the tent which was quite large. There were four cues and to get in I had to be checked by security. Am I really in James Bond movie? Do these guys know that we’re just here to have fun?
Do you think we walked in like this?
Of course not! We walked in like this!
So I enter and called Simon. He meets me and we head on over to the rest of the people. I say hello to Rosita and the gang. After taking a few photos it’s time for the fireworks! I look up at the sky and see a TINY firework… wait.. thats it? Tiny little sparks in the sky? The university takes so much money from us and all they can do is buy these tiny little shits? :p (Sorry for the bad word). It was funny because they were just crap. Oh well.. something is better than nothing.
We then headed into the main tent to laugh and chat. There were these three guys on stage that were acting all Akon ‘n shit and grinding the mics and each other. It was funny to watch.
There was a large screen on the top where you could send a text message and it would show.
I sent “Hey Simon from Hong Kong! Did you just grab my ass? Kei”
Simon sent “Hi Kei, Actually I did. Your ass is too sexy for me. Simon”
I danced around and taught the people how to dance some old moves to old songs that they were playing and then we all went to the next tent which was a fake casion. They gave us 5 pounds (Not real), and we headed to the roullette table to test our luck. We won around 70 pounds but then lost it. It’s fake right? So who cares!
Me being cool and giving Simon some cash
There’s so much more. We went on some rides, chatted a bit more and I met up with Ahmed, Camilla, Allen and the JuJitsu group.
Do I look like a bad guy?
If you stay until 5:30 you are called a ‘Survivor” and they take a picture of the people who stayed awake. I was so tired but I had to stay up. Everyone was so happy but as usual British punks have to ruin it. One guy threw a full bottle of red vodka (plastic bottle) on another guys head so hard. Some splashed on my shirt. I was so sorry for that guy. He looked so angry. Imagine being so happy and then finally having your night ruined by some assholes!
At the end of the day I was happy. A day to remember.
There was a university event called ‘The End’. It’s basially a party that all of the uni students stand around on campus and chat or get drunk. I thought it would be empty but it was packed! I have never ever seen it like this before.
When I first arrived, I saw some ‘hippies’ sitting on the floor and smoking som sheesha (arabic smoking pipe). I was surprised. I went to the steps and saw that the area was full of people getting drunk.
I saw people that I have never seen before. After saying hello to some friends, Kayo came up to me. She said hello and was really kind, maybe a bit tipsy. I stood around taking a few pictures and then met up with the rest of my friends. Joked, chatted, and played around.
I noticed that I had alot of friends from Hong Kong. I didn’t realize it but when I was standing around it became obvious to me. HK people are fun.
What did they have? In Square 4 there was a DJ, a Wizard, and a naked guy. In Square 3 there was a rock band playing around.
Myself and Jason
Later on, Simon and the rest decided to go to my home to play some games. So after dropping everyone at my home, myself and Simon and two others went to get some snacks and drinks. While at Spar, one of the guys seemed to be drunk and he vomitted on my car…. It annoyed me so I dropped the guy home. He kept saying “I’m ok. I’m ok.” and he was a friendly guy but I didn’t want to risk him vomitting anywhere else.
Anyway, after playing, having fun, doing some NOS, a few people left because they were going to the party the next day. My friend Michael Pan then brought some of his friends over to play.
To be honest, the first group of friends were a bit more fun than the second. Anyway, at around 5am, I dropped some people off at the university. On the road there was a guy. He looked like he was dead. So I stopped the car quickly and myself and Omar got out to ask him if he was ok.
Actually he was super drunk and it looks like he just fell down. Problem is, this drunk guy on the street seemed like he wanted to fight. Are drunk people just stupid? He’s on the floor and he’s drunk and some people try to help him so he wants to fight? Anyway, so we moved him the sidewalk and left him. British people get too angry when they are drunk! Drinking is bad!! Don’t do it!
I went home super tired. I had to get up as early as possible to do some odd jobs and prepare for the party. I hope it will work out.
One thing is for sure, it doesn’t matter if I’m tired, busy, or even sleeping. My girl is always on my mind
Why is Omar an asshole? That is a question I ask myself alot but I cannot answer.
Why am I awake? I can answer that one easily. My door bell rang. A man said “Can you switch off your car alarm, I’m trying to sleep?”. He spoke to me with an annoyed voice.
I ran downstairs, apologized and then switched off the alarm. He said that my alarm rings everyday at 1am :s what the hell? How could that be?? I felt so embarassed. I explained to him that if I knew that it was making a noise I would have solved fixed the problem.
Anyway, so now I can’t sleep because I’m worried I’m going to disturb my neighbours.
So Omar is an asshole. He promised that he was going to help me today but he calls me at 12:30 and says, “Let’s go to the computer shop now”. I said “no I told you everyday for the past three days I have a dinner at 1″. He said “So what, fuck them, you can be late”. I said ” no! I don’t want to be late!” He said “it will only be a few minutes! you’ll finish by 1:30″.
30 minutes late is MORE THAN A FEW MINUTEs! So I said No! and he said, ok fine, then I’m not helping you.
ok…. fine, if he wants to be unreliable as usual then thats fine with me. So I went to town to a place called Prezzo and ate with the Japanese society committee for the last time. It was a nice looking place and we ate outside in the nice weather and just complained about different things we were disappointed with.
They were a good team.
I then went with Ahmed to the PC shop to complain about the pc. But the thing is, the main guy wasn’t working that day, so I had to explain everything to this man named Ben. He was very kind so it was hard for me to shout at him. I made it very simple. I told him to fix the problem and tell the owner to give me my 140 pounds back or else I’m going to have a large complaint with the authorities.
I left back home and then started to update my laptop. I hardly use my laptop but I need to now. Omar and Ahmed came over and we then decided to go to Riley’s Bar to play some Billiard. Way and Simon both came with us as well. After playing a bit (and winning too ) We went to Tesco to buy a few things then went to my home. We chatted, watched some tv and joked around.
Tomorrow I’m planning to wait for some packages, go to town to ask for my money back from the owner of that PC shop, then sit in the university for the ‘END PARTY’. I hope it’ll be nice.
I’ve been updating my websites and working on my business alot. Today I finished writing up a contract template. I’m so proud of it. It looks very professional! I even smiled when I looked at it because I thought that it looked really simple to read but also looked high quality ^_^.
Tomorrow I’m going to go meet the Japanese society committee one last time. We’re going to have a lunch at 1pm, just chat and also say thanks to the people who helped the society. It’s going to be nice.
Oh I tried to call my girlfriend today but I didn’t get a reply. I thought that she must have been sleeping or something. It’s strange because usually I’m a relaxed person, but if I don’t get a reply, I really hope that everything is fine. Sometimes I think “is she ok?”, “did something happen?”, or “I hope she is fine”. I have to be Super Kei after all right?
I’ve just finished clearing my pc and trying to get things to run. Not everything works fine so after the lunch, it’s time for my angry side to come out. I’m going to make it simple. I’ll tell the pc shop “Fix my pc for free, give me a new one, or give me my money back”. If he tries to argue I just have one more thing to say “I’m going to sue you”.
I sold a few things. I need to sell whatever is in my house that I don’t want. Fresh start for life for me you see.
I feel like my house is so empty without my picture frames, my coffee table, and a few other stuff. It’s my design you know? I bought the stuff, I thought of everything, it’s a part of me!
Oh well, what can I do? I sold the apartment so I have to get rid of everything.
I’m more excited about sharing my life with someone special to me at the moment
I want to share this cute video. The poor boy wants to explain something, but he doesn’t have enough words! (reminds me of someone cute too :P)
My body is aching me! Yesterday was an amazingly great day.
Matt from Dancing with Matt came to London and was going to do a video shoot. So Omar and myself decided to go and join in as HG. Yes I think we looked a bit funny, but at the end of the day, if people or smiling (for whatever reason), that is the main point.
The journey to London wasn’t easy. After trying to get Omar to wake up 9 times, we finally left. We got on the train to leave and were kindly left on the train for a while because there was a problem. Why is the train NEVER on time?
When we arrived, we were running from station to station, I didn’t want to keep anybody waiting.
I finally made it with no breath in my lungs. I called Anri and she seemed a bit stressed or nervous because she didn’t know where to go. At the end of the day she made it to support me. I met Matt and we shook hands.
Omar and myself started to change into our costumes. The sun was so hot, and we started to sweat. The funny thing is, people started to come up to me and Omar asking for photos. They totally seemed to forget about Matt for a moment. I felt great. A huge crowd gathering around us!
After that, we filmed the quick dancing thing and chatted with a few people and finally left. I had a good feeling inside me. COuld this be the start of something great?
Here is a preview
It was so hot so we all decided to go get an ice-cream. I called up Chilis as well too!
Chilis: Hi how can I help you?
Kei: Do you have any Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie?
Chilis: Yes
Kei: Really?? In Stock?
Chilis: Yes
Kei: ok I’m coming now!
We headed off to chilis and had a great meal. I enjoyed every last moment of my day!
Since we had some time left, we went to Trocadero to play a few games. There is a Fist of the North Star game that I played a couple of times which I love!
If I play that everyday, I’ll be so strong. My arms feel so heavy today!!
When it was finally time to leave (some hugs and tears :P) I went to the station. It was 8:30 when I left but AS USUAL there was a train problem and I had to take a bus at 9:30 to Ingateston, then take the train. It was around 11:30 when I arrived. (Just to note, it takes me FIFTY minutes usually, this time it took me 3 hours!) What the hell?
